Vindu's View: Google in Outer Space: Search engine stakes out new frontier
Google is all googly-eyed about outer space. The galactic leader in Internet search got worldwide attention when it announced recently that it was offering $30 million in prizes to the first two privately funded teams to land unmanned robotic rovers on the moon.
